What are we working towards?
We're working with the teams at YouthInGov and Youth Action Hour to call on the Biden-Harris administration to incorporate more members of Gen Z in government!
Build an Office of Young Americans
Establish an independent Office within the Executive Office of the President (EOP) that is devoted to inter-agency youth-programming collaboration. |
Appoint a Director of Youth Engagement
Appoint a Director of Youth Engagement to oversee the Office for Young Americans and sit on the Domestic Policy Council and engage with the National Security Council. |
Empower youth in official administration positions
Build out opportunities for Young Americans and create a diverse public service pipeline through the Office of Presidential Personnel devoting a staffer to the hiring of Young Americans into government. |

After meeting with Congressman Pappas, on July 1 (the 50-year anniversary of the 26th amendment that granted 18-year-olds and older to vote), the Future Forum Caucus endorsed the YouthInGov policy!
Future Forum is a generational, congressional caucus comprised of 50 young Members of Congress who focus on issues important to younger Americans. Future Forum is chaired by Representative Stephanie Murphy in the 116th Congress.
